And during tonight's semi-finals, Sonny dedicated his second dance to "best mate" Joe, taking to the ice to a song that was played at his funeral.
Joe's cause of death has not been disclosed. Sonny explained that he'd chosen to dance to Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap. "It was the song that was played at the funeral of my best mate last year," he told head judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
