Dog unit helps make arrest after spate of alleged attempted vehicle break-ins in Lanarkshire

Police have arrested a man in connection with several alleged attempted break-ins to vehicles in Lanarkshire at the weekend.

The 49-year-old man is scheduled to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in connection with the incidents, which were reported in Rutherglen.

"The man was apprehended with assistance from our dog unit. "A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 5 December, 2022."
