dailyrecord.co.ukdog has miraculously survived a 300 foot horror plunge from a Scots waterfall unscathed.Heroic five hour efforts from the Moffat Mountain Rescue team saved little Louis the Springer spaniel after he fell in the Grey Mares Tail waterfall near Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway.Louis had managed to slip his lead and dropped the massive distance- around the height of the Statue of Liberty in New York.Mountain rescue teams were sent to either side of the waterfall to try and find the pooch.They could hear him whining and followed his cries for 45 minutes until being stunned to discover the spaniel on a ledge having fallen 300 feet.Another perilous 300 feet drop was below the ledge.Rescuers sprang into action and lowered a team member down the.
