Doctor Who fans went wild on Sunday night as it was announced that David Tennant and Catherine Tate will return in 2023. David, 51, who played the 10th Doctor, and Catherine, 52, who played Donna Noble, are filming scenes that will air next year to coincide with the show's 60th anniversary celebrations.
It comes after it was announced that Sex Education's Ncuti Gatwa will replace Jodie Whittaker as the next Doctor. Fans will recall that the Doctor and Donna parted ways when the Doctor had to wipe Donna's memory, making her forget him, in order to save her life.
