In the mid-credits scene, fans will see Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) walking down a street in New York City before a portal opens up that seems to lead to the dark dimension that held Dormammu in the the first Doctor Strange movie.
It’s then that a woman, played by Charlize Theron, dressed in all purple tells Strange that she needs his help in saving the universe.
