Doctor 'didn't want to continue living' during 14-month long covid battle

A doctor as opened up about the 'horrific' symptoms of long covid she is still suffering with more than a year after testing positive for the virus.

Dr Kelly Fearnley, from Leeds, has spent months struggling with a skyrocketing heart-rate, difficulty breathing and exhaustion from any activity.

At times, the 35-year-old was in so much pain and distress that she felt like she 'didn't want to continue living'. Thankfully, her condition has started to slightly improve, however she is still not healthy enough to do everyday things such as watch TV, drive, or work.

Kelly told Leeds Live : "I was so poorly, and I am still struggling. I still haven't been able to go back to work. I can't drive or even watch TV. "My brain has been inflamed and I lost control of my breathing.
