DMX's final song was released on the same day as his death. The rapper, whose real name was Earl Simmons, passed away on Friday after going into cardiac arrest earlier this month following a suspected overdose.
That same day, his last song 'X Moves', which also features Bootsy Collins and Deep Purple's Ian Paice, arrived on some streaming platforms Cleopatra Records founder Brian Perera said in a statement that was issued prior before DMX's death: "As 'X Moves' shows, he is still one of the most innovative and original hip-hop artists around. "Our hearts go out to all of DMX's family, friends and supporters." DMX has been on life support for the last few days of his life.
