He is currently in a hospital in White Plains, N.Y., and is in the critical care unit. Sources told TMZ that he has “some brain activity,” while others said that he is in a “vegetative state.”DMX has been open about his past struggles with addiction, and has attended rehab several times.
In 2019, the 50-year-old rapper canceled a series of live performances and checked into rehab for substance abuse after serving a year-long sentence in jail for tax fraud and evasion.DMX first came onto the rap scene in the 1990s.
