The mum-of-two used pallets and plywood she salvaged, a cot mattress costing £20 and paint for £9. Courtney, from Tamworth, Staffordshire, told money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk : "I've always wanted a window seat and the space in front of the window was perfect to build a simple storage window seat.
