Diversity returned to the Britain's Got Talent stage for a live semi-final performance, choosing to take the knee once again in a tremendous and defiant display.

The dance troupe's last appearance on the show, in 2020, amassed more than 20,000 complaints to Ofcom, after a performance themed around the Black Lives Matter protests, which were taking place following the death of George Floyd.

In a nod to the horrific case, Ashley Banjo had his neck knelt on by a white dancer dressed as a police officer before the group took a knee during the routine.Their powerful routine garnered a mixed reaction from viewers, with many praising them for using their platform to share an important message, while others argued it was too political for national television.
