A distressed dog was left outside an Asda, crying in the rain for more than two hours yesterday. The poor pooch was found by a shopper at around 3pm yesterday (Monday, December 13) outside the supermarket in Woodchurch, Wirral.

Christine Jones spotted the dog tied up in the rain and said it was in a clear state of distress, barking continuously. This prompted her to go over and stroke it, to reassure it that their owner wouldn’t be long.
