A Disney on Ice skater is recovering following a fall during a performance Saturday in Minneapolis. The skater, Anastasia Olson, who portrays Belle, remains hospitalized in serious condition, a hospital spokesperson told Deadline Monday.

She was injured while performing a lift during the Saturday morning performance at Target Center. “They were doing a lift, it appeared shaky and she fell,’ audience member Beka told KARE 11 in Minneapolis.

The show continued, and Beka added, “I am beyond grateful and thankful for the remaining staff and the performers who kept going because that preserves the magic for the kids.

I know that has to have been very difficult.” Feld Entertainment, the parent company of Disney on Ice, released a statement over the weekend to Fox 9, saying Olson was injured during the 11 am show Saturday after she fell while performing a lift during a pair skating routine.
