Disney+ Drops Trailer For David Beckham Series ‘Save Our Squad’

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Anders Holm has joined the cast of the live-action Godzilla and the Titans series at Apple in a recurring role, Variety has learned exclusively. Holm is the latest addition to the the series, joining previously announced cast members Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, Elisa Lasowski, Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell and Mari Yamamoto. Character details are being kept under wraps. The show hails from Legendary Television and is a part of the company’s growing Monsterverse franchise. Per the official description of the series, “Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the untitled series will explore one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.”

Focus Features has picked up the Willem Dafoe psychological thriller Inside and set a theatrical release of March 10, 2023. Focus is handling Inside in the U.S. and Canada while Universal International will distribute overseas.

Academy Award-nominated writer/director Tony Gilroy (“Michael Clayton,” “The Bourne Legacy”) is having a moment thanks to the rapturous critical and commercial reception of his new “Star Wars” series, “Andor,” starring Diego Luna. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer has landed, giving fans a fresh glimpse at the new Black Panther as well as Wakanda’s new foe.In the newly released clip, which dropped today (October 3), a voice declares: “Only the most broken people can be great leaders”, as we get a closer look at new character Namor, who is the ruler of Talocan, an ancient civilisation of underwater people.M’Baku then warns that killing him will “risk eternal war”, as the Wakandan heroes face their new foe. The trailer ends with a shot of the new mysterious Black Panther suited up.The new clip follows on from the first trailer, which was released in July and saw the characters mourning the death of T’Challa, before we captured a brief glimpse of the Black Panther suit.The film comes after the passing of original Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who died following a battle with colon cancer in 2020.Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently revealed that it was “much too soon” to recast the character in the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster.“It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” he told Empire.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief EST Studios, the film company established this year by 88Rising co-founder Jaeson Ma and former Vice Media executive Eric Tu, has struck a partnership arrangement with China’s Hugoeast Media. The partnership is looking at an initial slate of eight projects, with EST Studios representing sales at the major film markets including the upcoming Asian Contents and Film Market and Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival. EST will be the exclusive representative for Hugoeast’s titles in North America. In other territories (outside of China) it will handle them on a non-exclusive basis.

Staying true to the comics, Namor can also fly with his winged feet. M’Baku reveals in the trailer that the Atlanteans call Namor “K’uk’ulkan, the feather serpent god,” and that killing him would “risk eternal war.” There’s also a brief shot of the new hero Ironheart flying in her makeshift Iron Man-inspired armor.

The cast of BBC EastEnders enjoyed a big night out as newcomer Bobby Brazier and his co-stars were spotted at Tulley's Shocktober Fest in Crawley. Similar to the UK Government’s dedicated pages on GOV.UK, the site has been developed as a ‘one stop shop’ designed to help households struggling with the rising costs of daily living and soaring energy bills to find out if they are eligible for additional support.
