Disabled boy, 19, forced to 'live like animal' in house where he cannot even use shower

A mum-of-two says her family are "living like animals" while waiting for adaptations for her house so her disabled son can use the shower.

Katarzyna Kobiela is living with her husband and two sons in temporary accommodation while awaiting repair works to be made to her house.

She said the house is unsafe, with no carpet, and carpet staples sticking out of the floor in various places, and patches of damp on parts of the floor, Liverpool Echo reports.

She said: "I have a 19 year old son who is a wheelchair user. He is like a newborn. "I have to feed him, change him, he can not sit, walk or talk.
