Director Tristram Shapeero has said sorry after he was caught on camera scoffing at Euphoria star Lukas Gage’s "tiny apartment" during a video audition.
Last week, actor Gage, 25, hit headlines after sharing a clip of an exchange with Shapeero while he was trying out for a new part via video call.
The director was heard talking about the TV star's home after forgetting to hit the mute button, saying: "These poor people live in these tiny apartments. "Like I’m looking at his, you know, background and he’s got his TV.” Gage then replies: "I know it’s a s**tty apartment.
That’s why give me this job so I can get a better one." The video went viral and Shapeero - known for his work on shows such as The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Brooklyn
