Dillian Whyte's heavyweight showdown with Otto Wallin has reportedly been called off. Whyte, the WBC interim champion, was due to face the Swede at the O2 Arena in London on October 30, with the winner going on to potentially face Tyson Fury early next year.
But according to reports, the contest will not go ahead due to a shoulder injury suffered by Whyte. The Body Snatcher is said to have picked up the issue during his training camp in Portugal, according to The Sun.
He was due to return to the United Kingdom next week to make his final preparations for the contest. As of yet, it's not been confirmed if the entire event in London will be scrapped or the fights scheduled to be on the undercard will still go ahead.
