Diddy is no longer on suicide watch. The rapper has been behind bars awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest in mid-September for charges related to sex trafficking.
Earlier this month, sources told People that Sean Combs was placed on suicide watch as a preventative measure, which is often used for people who are in shock after an arrest or when their mental state is unclear.
It wasn’t immediately known how long he’d been under extra supervision. But now, just about two weeks after his arrest, the musician has been taken off suicide watch, a law enforcement insider confirmed to People on Sunday.
A source also revealed that the Grammy winner has visited with his family at the detention center. It’s unclear exactly what family members showed up to the facility, but he is a dad to seven children: Quincy, Justin, Christian “King,” Chance, Jessie, D’Lila, and Love.
