This year she returns to Cannes starring alongside Vincent Cassel in David Cronenberg’s The Shrouds, a very different, and for its director highly personal film about the very same subject, love and loss, following his own wife’s death in 2017.
This Cronenbergian plot centers on an businessman and grieving widower who builds a novel device to connect with the dead inside a burial shroud.
