‘Dexter: Original Sin’ Renewed For Season 2 At Showtime

Dexter: Original Sin has been renewed for a second season at Paramount+ with Showtime. A Season 2 writer’s room is set to begin shortly, with production dates to be revealed soon.

From showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, Dexter: Original Sin is the first prequel series in the expanding franchise following serial killer Dexter Morgan.

Michael C. Hall, who portrayed the titular antihero in the mothership series, is the prequel’s narrator. Patrick Gibson plays Dexter in his late teens when he was a baby slayer in training, 15 years before the events of the original Dexter series.

The 10-episode original drama series is set in 1991 Miami and follows Dexter (Patrick Gibson), a student refining his killer skills with the help and support of his adoptive father Harry (Christian Slater).
