A man killed after being hit by a car in Falkirk has been hailed a "legend" with an "infectious laugh". James Risk, also known as Boab, is believed to have been struck by a Kia Optima as he crossed Main Street in Stenhousemuir shortly after midnight.
Emergency services raced to the incident at around 12.10am today, but the 36-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.Heartbroken pals are paying tribute to him on social media, one said: "Can’t believe this has happened - true legend taken too soon!"Will never forget you.
