Detectives have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses following the fatal stabbing of a young dad in Ancoats. Neri Morse, 24, tragically died after an incident on Pollard Street, just outside of the city centre, at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 20.
During this incident, a second man - aged in his 20s - was also injured. Three men have already been charged with Neri's murder but police are still trying to 'piece together' what happened leading up to his death.

Billboards will also be put up in the Ancoats area so that witnesses know how to report information. Detective Chief Inspector Wes Knights, of GMP's Major Incident Team, said: "It's now just over one week on from this tragic incident in which a young man lost his life.
