The 39-year-old Thor star and the 42-year-old Don’t Worry Darling actor both signed on to star in Star Trek 4 back in 2016. It would have seen them reprising their roles from 2009′s Star Trek, in which Pine played Kirk and Hemsworth played his on-screen father George Kirk.
Unfortunately, the movie never materialized. Years after it was supposed to come out, its creators shared some insight into the plot, and it sounds like we missed out on a blockbuster.
