Denmark head coach Kasper Hjulmand's claim about Christian Eriksen has justified Manchester United's decision to capture the signature of the 30-year-old midfielder and free agent.
MEN Sport reported on Monday that Eriksen had verbally agreed to sign for United this summer. It is understood that the Dane has agreed to a three-year deal at the Theatre of Dreams.
Eriksen returned to the Premier League earlier this year when he moved to Brentford. The former Tottenham Hotspur man caught the eye during his 11 appearances for the Bees which led to him being a player of interest for Erik ten Hag. He told Sports Max after Eriksen returned to the Denmark starting XI: "It was Christian Eriksen's comeback at Parken – it was magical. "We can see the blueprint for a relaxation and lightness in Christian's game, which is fantastic.
