Denise Van Outen has revealed she held her 11 year old daughter Betsy back a year in school so she could catch up after lockdown affected her learning.
Betsy, who has dyslexia and dyspraxia, is due to start secondary school in September. Former Celebrity Gogglebox star Denise exclusively told OK!
about the decision after Betsy, who she shares with ex-husband and actor Lee Mead, struggled with homeschooling during the pandemic.
She told us of Betsy going to high school: “She’s ready now but she wasn’t before. I held her back for a year because of the whole lockdown situation. “Her and a couple of the other kids couldn’t do the online learning because they couldn’t have the intervention as she’d have extra help in class.
