Throughout the performance, Taylor was seen dancing and singing along to Demi‘s songs, and Demi later reposted several of those videos on social media. She also addressed the reaction on an Instagram Live, via ET. “I was really proud of it. I’m really happy with it and it was nice to see everybody enjoying it in the audience, dancing to it, Kelsea Ballerini and Taylor Swift, seeing them dance to that made my heart warm.
That was really nice,” she reflected. In 2016, Demi Lovato made several comments about Taylor‘s “squad” not having “normal bodies” after previously insulting her lack of political activism.
