However, she ended up finishing the show with Luke Mabbott, and the pair soared straight through to the finals, placing third.
Unfortunately, fans know that their relationship didn't last, and the pair ended up splitting a few months later in June 2020.
Now single again, Demi - who announced she had recovered from thyroid cancer in 2021 - has signed herself up for Love Island: All Stars, a new series where former fan favourites return to the South African villa for a second chance at love.
