St Mirren will sign Declan Gallagher on a two year deal. The Buddies pulled the plug on the transfer earlier today but the move is back on after the player and his representatives went back to the Paisley club this evening.
The deal for the Aberdeen defender should now be concluded before they head to Northern Ireland for their pre-season trip next week.
The St Mirren board had decided to walk away after initial talks but have now decided to back boss Stephen Robinson after he urged them to get a deal done.
Gallagher will now terminate his Aberdeen contract for a move to the Buddies. The former Scotland defender previously played under Robinson at Motherwell.
