TV presenter confirmed the birth in a social media post shared with followers on Sunday evening (July 24) and revealed they had named the child Jack Anthony Alphonsus.
The child's name is in part a tribute to Dec's Northern Irish father, Alphonsus Donnelly, who passed away in 2011. He went on to say that his eldest daughter is "beyond excited to be a big sister".
