Dec's brother Dermott died aged just 55 on July 8 . Catholic priest Father Dermott was admitted to hospital after a serious illness.
Dec is said to have raced to his brother's side after he fell seriously ill. Dermott, who officiated the TV star's wedding, is understood to have been rushed to University Hospital of North Durham with a suspected bleed on the brain after he collapsed.
