Dame Deborah James’s mum Heather has shared a beautiful tribute to her daughter on what would have been her 41st birthday. Deborah tragically died following a five-year battle with bowel cancer in June.
The broadcaster, who went by the nickname ‘Bowel Babe’, devastatingly announced in May that she had moved to end-of-life care.
In the weeks that followed, she raised a staggering £6.7million for cancer research through her JustGiving page and another £1million with her In The Style range.
She was also made a Dame and announced the release of a new book, How to Live When You Could be Dead, which went to number one in the Amazon best sellers list.
