Dame Deborah James was forced to defend a joke she made about Meghan Markle before the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend celebrations.
Deborah, who is receiving end of life care at her mum and dad's house in Woking, said she was "determined" to not pass away while celebrations were taking place, and therefore "stealing thunder" from Meghan Markle.
