Having played DS Camille from the very beginning, alongside DI Richard Poole (Ben Miller) and later DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall), Sara has popped up from time to time to offer advice to the current DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little), even if it's just through a video call.
Despite Camille's life taking a turn towards family bliss with a new baby, the show's narrative keeps the door open for her to step back into the limelight, even as DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) shines this Christmas.
In an exclusive chat with Express.co.uk about her new project, Those About to Die, Sara didn't rule out a comeback to Death in Paradise.
