EXCLUSIVE: Elliot Stabler’s reconciliation with his once estranged older brother Randall is taking hold. Dean Norris, who recurred as Randall Stabler last season, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming fifth season of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which is moving to Peacock after four seasons on NBC.
Norris was introduced as Randall, Elliott’s (Chris Meloni) successful real estate developer brother, last season when the duo cared for their ailing mom Bernadette (Ellen Burstyn).
Randall, who had left the family when he was young, had previously had a long-standing tension with Elliot stemming from an event involving their father.
Norris appeared in nine of Season 4’s 13 episodes. Last season also featured as a recurring character Randall and Elliott’s younger brother, Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter), who ended up becoming an informant for the OCCB.
