Deaf Auchinleck Talbot fan who inspired 'Eeka Peeka' chant stunned by acts of kindness during life in lockdown

A kind hearted community worker is teaching herself sign language to help Auchinleck Talbot's most famous fan cope with life in lockdown.Diane Dean went the extra mile for deaf diehard Robert Whiteford - the man who inspired Talbot's famous 'Eeka Peeka Pukka Po' chant  - after his concerned son turned to her for help.Robert lives alone in sheltered housing in Irvine and is currently unable to leave the house for food or medicine as he recovers from a broken hip.Diane, who volunteers with the Vineburgh Emergency Community Hub, has been running shopping and medical errands for him for the last fortnight.And she's gone above and beyond the call of duty by learning how to sign so the two can enjoy a chat during her visits.She then arranged,
