Nick McGlashan's death may be related to drug use, according to police officers at the scene in a Nashville hotel room. The 33-year-old Deadliest Catch star was reportedly found unresponsive in a room at the Holiday Inn on Sunday, and passed away later that night.
It is believed that Nick, whose real name is Bruce, had travelled from his home in Seattle to meet an unknown friend in Nashville.
The Sun has reported that his Discovery Channel castmates had said that he was "in great spirits" in the days before his trip, The father-of-two had been outspoken about his battle with alcohol and drug addiction for a number of years and sources have said that he may have "slipped up" before his death.
