'Days of Our Lives': Doug's Death Episode Date Revealed

Days of Our Lives is preparing for an emotional farewell. The long-running soap opera series is preparing to say goodbye to Doug, played by Bill Hayes, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

The Peacock show announced that his funeral would be a part of the show’s 15,000th episode, during which several stars from the series will return to pay tribute. Keep reading to find out more… In newly released spoilers, we now know that the exact date of Doug’s death will be next Thursday, November 28, on Thanksgiving. Doug’s family will already be gathered together for the holiday, including Jack, Jennifer, Eli and Lani.

That means that the 15,000th episode will come the following Monday, December 2, which will be the show’s big tribute to the late star.

Soaps.com notes that doesn’t necessarily mean the 15,000th will be the funeral, as they did with Victor’s farewell, which included flashbacks with virtually everyone.
