St Johnstone are facing a fitness sweat over key midfielder David Wotherspoon.The Canadian international went down clutching his knee early in the second half of Saturday’s League Cup semi-final defeat against Celtic.There was concern around the national stadium and from both sets of players before Wotherspoon was replaced by Ali Crawford.Manager Callum Davidson yesterday said: “It’s not great with David.“It’s never good when someone goes down in pain with nobody near them.
