David Norris is well known for doing many things in Irish society, being one of the only openly gay politicians and the progress he helped achieve for the LGBT+ community immediately spring to mind.
This week on RTÉ’s popular series Keys to my Life, viewers get to take a look back into the life of David Norris as he revisits important places in his past with host Brendan Courtney.
The show begins when Brendan arrives at the Dublin City Centre Georgian home of David before he returns to where it all began in Dublin 4.
The politician recalls losing his father aged just six, but as he only saw him for one month each summer, he said he ‘didn’t give a damn’ as he was never around.
