David Moyes has reflected on his time as Manchester United manager while sending a message to the Old Trafford hierarchy over their next appointment.
Moyes was selected to replace Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 but he only lasted 10 months at United. Fast forward to the present day and Moyes has West Ham on the verge of qualifying for Europe this season, with his old club still floundering.
That might yet be a Champions League place for the Hammers as they compete with Tottenham, Arsenal and United in that ongoing and exciting pursuit for a top-four finish.
Either way, the Scot continues to impress at the London Stadium and beyond. United, meanwhile, have identified Erik ten Hag as a preferred candidate to take over as manager at Old Trafford and current club Ajax expect him to leave at the end of this season.
