David de Gea says Manchester United need to add more experience to their squad if they are to challenge for the major trophies.
United went out of the Europa League after a 2-1 defeat to Sevilla, a third semi-final exit of the season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho remains United's No.1 target, with the Reds hopeful of securing a deal for the £100million-rated 20-year-old.
But United goalkeeper De Gea reckons they also need to bring in more mature players with greater experience if Solskjaer's side are to go to the next level. “I think we improved already this season,” said De Gea. "We were 14 points behind the third position in the Premier League.
