Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has opened up on his 'difficult' first season at the club. De Gea joined United back in 2011 for a fee of £22.5m from Atletico Madrid.

He would go on to make 29 appearances in the Premier League, keeping 13 clean sheets in the process but his first season would end without silverware.
