David de Gea announces birth of newborn baby amid Man Utd absence

The Manchester United goalkeeper and his girlfriend Edurne Garcia both posted a picture on their Instagram accounts of the baby's hand along with a caption: "Yanay 4•3•21" along with a loveheart emoji.
The Spaniard was absent for his side's goalless draw at Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. After the game Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to elude on the reasons behind De Gea's absence.
But it emerged after the game that the 30-year-old had returned to Spain to be with his partner for the birth of his first child.
