David Beckham visits mum Sandra for down-to-earth gammon and chips dinner

David Beckham has been spending some quality time with his mum, Sandra as they shared his favourite meal together. The footballing star, who recently shared a video of himself and daughter Harper walking to school, posted a selfie of himself and his mum about to tuck in to a gammon and chips dinner.

David, 47, wrote: "Can't beat dinner with mum," with a heart emoji. "Gammon , chips , pineapple, fried egg , coleslaw & mushy peas..

Favorite as a kid thanks mum followed by a jam doughnut and a cup of tea. "Sorry @jo_jo_beckham_ the [crown emoji] was home for dinner @sandra_beckham49." David's mum, 73, still lives in the UK, with David himself splitting his time between Miami and his £6m Cotswolds farmhouse.

Footie legend recently celebrated his 47th birthday at the lavish property in the UK, surrounded by his family including Sandra and his dad, Ted, 71, and shared a series of photos to mark the occasion on Instagram.
