David Beckham has again failed to make the Queen's Jubilee Birthday Honours list - just months after being snubbed from the New Year's awards.

The former England player has been touted for a knighthood for years, for both his services to sport and ongoing charity work.

As one of football's biggest stars, the 47-year-old won countless accolades throughout his illustrious career with teams including Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Although now retired from the game, Beckham continues to work off the pitch and was recently announced as one of the faces for the upcoming Qatar World Cup taking place later this year, the Mirror reports.
