David Beckham praised by family as he queues for 14 hours to see Queen Lying-in-State

David Beckham has been praised by his family as well as fans after queuing for 14 hours to pay his respects to The Queen as she is Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall.

The legendary footballer, 47, who has played for the England national team, didn't use his celebrity status to fast-track the queue of thousands of people waiting to pay their respects to the late Queen.

He's earned himself plenty of praise for his humility, and his second-eldest son Romeo, 20, has reposted an Instagram video posted by Sky Sports in which David is seen talking to people in the queue.

Dressed in a black suit with a waistcoat, black tie and a baker boy cap, David rocked his usual short beard as he smiled and engaged with those around him.
