David Beckham mocked himself as he failed to prove he was taller than his son Romeo. The Beckhams got seriously competitive over their height on the famous offspring's 18th birthday on Tuesday.
But the retired footballer, 43, was just millimetres shorter than his growing son as he begrudgingly admitted to being shorter.
In jest, David posed for one of the photos with his head bowed down to make him appear even shorter. But the dad-of-four was quick to point out there wasn't much difference in their height.
He joked in the caption: "Me just trying to prove I'm still taller. "I mean it's pretty damn close come on." David declared he was "happy" with the results of their height competition on Instagram.
