David Beckham jokes he's 'putting his feet up' after son Brooklyn's £3m wedding

David Beckham revealed his plans to “put his feet up” following eldest son Brooklyn Beckham’s £3 million wedding this past Saturday to Nicola Peltz.The 46 year old jokingly told followers on Thursday that he would be resting for the time being after watching his son get married as he had another busy weekend ahead of him.

In a video posted to his Instagram, David could be seen sitting back in a chair smiling whilst looking down at his phone with his feet raised up as he captioned: “Putting my feet up for the long weekend @digitalbitsorg” – tagging a blockchain for brands at the end.

You can sign up at the top of the page.The former footballer looked his signature dapper self in the clip dressed in a black double breasted suit and a white shirt with black trainers on his feet, which were captured raised above a digitally imposed electric ball.This Sunday, David’s club Inter Miami are set to play against the Seattle Sounders and it appeared he wished to take it easy before the stress of the big game.The sports team owner’s intention to rest this week comes after spending a busy last few days in Florida celebrating son Brooklyn, 23, marrying Nicola, 27 in front of celebrity guests.

David was said to have been emotional at the ceremony as father of the groom and even “shed a tear” watching his eldest tie the knot, before giving a speech where he referenced Brooklyn as “Buster” and welcomed his new daughter-in-law to the family. “David's speech went on for about five minutes and he looked to shed a tear at one point.
