Stars from the club's past and present have joined in paying respects to the much-loved club figure. Manchester United informed fans of the loss with a heartfelt post on Thursday.
Kath started at United as a switchboard operator in September 1968 and served the club for over 55 years, much of it as the training ground receptionist, offering a sunny greeting to all who entered.
In 2022, Kath was honoured with a Service to Football award by the League Managers' Association, underlining her significant contributions.
