David Beckham has given fans a rare glimpse inside his lavish home office - and it features a very unlikely piece of decor.The sporting icon, who recently opened up about his grief following the death of Kath Phipps, gave his 88.3 million Instagram followers a look inside his office as he revealed that the festive Elf on the Shelf had taken hold of the room and had left some mess on the floor.

In the clip, David, 49, could be seen walking around his office as he panned the camera around to reveal some tinsel and a series of elf dolls which had been positioned on one of the cabinets.

However, in addition to giving fans a peek of what the elves had been up to, the former Manchester United footballer revealed a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on his wall.
