Crewe Alex boss David Artell has said his side must dust themselves down and go again when they face Bolton Wanderers this weekend after feeling his side was let down by the officials in their loss to Wigan Athletic.
The Cheshire side host Wanderers this Saturday at Gresty Road as both sides seek to return to winning ways in League One. Wanderers are seeking to bounce back from last weekend's loss to Plymouth Argyle, while the Railwaymen are looking for a response from the midweek loss at home to Wigan Athletic. But Artell was not happy with the first goal netted by Magennis from a free-kick, with the Crewe boss believing the Northern Ireland international was clearly offside but this was not picked up by the officials, led by referee Ben Toner.
The Alex manager slammed the decision as the latest in a long line of officiating calls which have gone against his side this season and believes they ought to become professional to mitigate against this.
